Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union take on 3rd division United Soccer League’s Rochester Rhinos. Philadelphia were close to win their first piece of silverware in the U.S. Open Cup final in 2014, just before Western MLS rivals Seattle Sounders scored twice in overtime to win. Philadelphia Union had mixed results in this current MLS 2015 season, where Rochester Rhinos have conceded only 4 goals, and have been undefeated in their 12 USL matches this season.

Two teams that have been struggling lately, each in their respective division, will be meeting tonight with hopes of regaining momentum. Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls will be looking for their 1st win for over a month. While rivals Atlanta Silverbacks are sitting at the bottom of the NASL table, with only 1 win out of 10 games this season.

This I-70 Rivalry is generating a lot of interest mainly in light of the return of MLS Sporting Kansas City’s Chance Myers from a long time off due to an Achilles injury. Another interesting Kansas player to watch is up-and-coming Hungarian Krisztian Nemeth, who is returning from U-20 international duty. St. Louis FC are playing their 1st season at USL, with 3-3-5, and have already registered 2 U.S. Open Cup wins.

Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire have been humiliating with a 6-0 defeat in last year at the US Open Cup Semi Final by MLS Eastern Conference Seattle Sounders. Things are not going well for Chicago in MLS 2015 season either, as they are second to last at the MLS Eastern Conference. USL side Louisville City FC are coming in strong form, ranked 4th in the USL Eastern Conference, and having lost only 2 of their last 12 games this season (5-2-5).

Major League FC Dallas coming out of 5 away games, their last being a loss to MLS rival Seattle Sounders. Dallas are ranked 5th in the MLS Western Conference, and are looking to further win to push them further up the chart. Winning may not be as easy for Dallas, as they are facing USL’s Western Conference number 1: Oklahoma City Energy FC. Oklahoma registered 7 wins out of 12 USL games this season (7-2-3), and look strong.

MLS Colorado Rapids will host Colorado Springs Switchbacks at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for a Colorado Darby. The Rapids sit at the bottom of the Major League Soccer Western Conference table, having won only 2 of their 14 matches during this MLS regular Season (2-4-8). Fellow state-side Switchbacks are ranked 5th in USL Western Conference, with 7 wins and 5 losses in 13 games played this season.

Real Salt Lake have been beaten from different directions recently. This Major League Soccer team has been suffering from injuries to key players such as defenders Jamison Olave and Chris Schuler, International duty of Elias Vasquez, and more. Similar it’s bigger sibling from MLS, Seattle Sounders 2 are a strong contender in the USL, sitting at 2nd spot in the USL Western Conference, with 7 wins in their last 13 games (7-4-2).
