Champions League Draw 2015-16 – Matches and Fixture Dates Released
The round-of-16 schedule and matches of the Champions League was released today (Monday) in UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
London’s Arsenal, currently leading the English Premier League table has drawn European champions Barcelona FC, which is an extremely difficult drew for the Gunners.
English Premier League champions Chelsea FC has drawn Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, similar to last season’s round-of-16.
Real Madrid will be facing Roma, and Manchester City FC (sister club of MLS’s New York City FC) have been given a golden opportunity to advance further in the stages after receiving a relatively easy draw of Dynamo Kyiv.
One of the most anticipated clashes is German Champions Bayern Munich facing Italian champions Juventus (former club of MLS Toronto FC’s Sebastian Giovinco and NYCFC’s Andrea Pirlo).
