Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution – Game Preview

Another crucial game for both sides tomorrow (Sunday) night, as Major League Soccer’s 2015 regular season is coming into its last straight.

Both hosts and visitors are on the upper half of the MLS Eastern Conference, where New England leads by just 3 points.

Hosts Toronto FC are ranked fifth in MLS East (11-11-4) and with 37 points are trailing 3 points behind fourth-placed New England Revolution.

Toronto’s 2-1 loss at Seattle Sounders last Saturday ended a 2-game winning run.

Visitors New England Revolution are fourth in the Eastern Conference (11-9-7) with 40 points.  Revolution are coming on the back of a four-game winning streak.  With their last match ending at a 3-0 home win over Orlando City SC.

The teams are meeting for the third time this Major League Soccer season, with a 1-1 draw in May, and a 3-1 New England win in August.
